CGI Security Script - Many web managers have scripts which they don't want others to have access
running from the web. These are usually maintenance type scripts used throughtout
their sites, such as the errors.cgi or wwwadmin.cgi scripts. Our logon script uses the
passwd.txt in providing added protection which will allow web managers to log on their
site and then only they will have access in running sensitive scripts.

passwords as plain text in a publicly readable file.

HTCrypt - This script is for encrypting passwords for use with .htaccess and .htpasswd files. It
is extremely quick, reliable and compact and is idea for setting up secure password
pritection. It's main use is for allowing site users to join your site and have
authorization to enter certain areas.

ICheck - ICheck allows you to "protect" a directory, without editing your .htaccess file. It is
easier, but not quite as secure.
